Job Summary
The Sales Assistant position is responsible for supporting a wide range of sales activities to help facilitate efficient operation of the Sales Department. This position is for a highly motivated, energetic person who works well in a small group where close collaboration and to accept multiple responsibilities are essentials. This is a 4-10 shift schedule.
Primary Responsibilities

Reports, follows directions, and provides limited executive assistant duties to the Sales Manager as assigned |
2. |
Answer, screen and transfer inbound phone calls |
3. |
Enter customer orders into CPG software system |
4. |
Invoice customer orders upon shipping |
5. |
Process dealer and credit applications |
6. |
Set up new accounts into CPG software system and B2B site |
7. |
Assist in collection communication for past due accounts |
8. |
Receive and direct visitors and clients |
9. |
Prepare written responses to routine enquiries |
10. |
Prepare, modify, and proof documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails |
11. |
Process domestic pre-pay orders bi-monthly or as directed by the Sale Coordinator |
12. |
Performs any/all other directives assigned by senior management |
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Must be detail oriented with strong organizational and written/oral communication skills

· Must have strong intrapersonal, teamwork, telephone, and customer service skills
· MS Office Suite proficiency and excellent writing and editing skills required
· Must be knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures and systems such as filing and record keeping
