Application Engineer

Job Description:

• Selected individuals will manage lab projects and work as a team on technical initiatives.
• Researches, collects and reports information on adhesive products, specification of manufacturing processes / equipment, and troubleshooting / failure analysis.
• Reviews and reports on the ability and capacity of company products and competing equipment.
• Aids in the design and development of equipment, systems and redesign to existing equipment to fulfill the needs of customers.
• Will work as a technical liaison with sales, marketing, manufacturing and R&D.
• Provide engineering support to help close business, identify new product development opportunities, trouble shoot and provide equipment functionality and capability reports.

• Work independently and as a team member on challenging lab projects.
• Provide technical support, perform research, collect data and report on adhesive and dispensing equipment performance in manufacturing processes and environments.
• Troubleshoot, perform failure analysis and research competing products and equipment.
• Technical liaison with our customers, sales, marketing, manufacturing, and R&D.
• You will gain experience in manufacturing, statistical analysis, and project management.

• Works well in a team environment.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Current undergraduate student majoring in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering field.
