NorthMarq Capital is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant for the Escrow Department. This position requires a deadline driven, organized, and detail-minded individual who would be responsible for processing insurance renewals and other escrow department tasks as scheduled, or as directed. Additional responsibilities may be added to adapt to Company growth.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Monitor and collect Evidence of Insurance and other policy documentation, upon expiration.
Create, maintain and update commercial mortgage insurance, tax and/or UCC files and FICS files.
Provide premier customer service to lenders, borrowers, agents and other NorthMarq staff.
Disburse insurance premiums from applicable escrow accounts.
Monitor and maintain the Insurance Team's Outlook inbox.
Monitor and maintain several reports.
Provide overflow support to the Escrow Department, as needed.
Communicate status through monthly narratives.
Perform other reasonable tasks/projects, as assigned in line with department goals and objectives
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: 2 or 4-year degree, preferred not required
Work Experience : 1-3 years of general office experience; Insurance or Mortgage Loan experience desired.
Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:
Familiar with Insurance and mortgage terminology
Required knowledge of Microsoft Office
Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include:
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Demonstrated ability to "self-start” and anticipate requirements of assignments
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and assignments; able to prioritize and meet deadlines
Demonstrated exceptional organizational skills and an eye for detail and excellence of work product
