Our client, a global Oil & Gas organisation, are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join the team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. Reporting to the Regional HR Director, the HR Manager will be responsible for leading the human resources function, ensuring compliance with local labor laws, and aligning HR strategies with the company’s business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the oil and gas industry, cultural sensitivity, and the ability to manage a diverse workforce in a challenging and dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s objectives and goals in line with the Regional HR Director.
- Collaborate with senior management to identify HR priorities and drive initiatives that support business growth.
- Monitor industry trends and ensure HR practices remain competitive and compliant.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process to attract and retain top talent for Saudi Arabia.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and retention.
- Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievances, in accordance with company policies and Saudi labor laws.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related matters.
- Oversee the design and implementation of competitive compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure the company’s offerings are aligned with industry standards.
- Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Implement leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of future leaders.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
- Manage HR-related risks, including those related to health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of HR practices to identify and mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of HR Generalist experience, with at least 3 years in a Business Partner or Manager role within the oil and gas sector in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, and HR strategy development.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Due to Saudisation regulations only Saudi Nationals can be considered for this role.
