The Business Development Representative (BDR) will play a crucial role in our growth and expansion. This position is ideal for a motivated and energetic individual who is eager to make a significant impact in the digital health industry. As a BDR, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, helping to expand our client base and drive our business forward. We can’t wait to meet you!
Responsibilities: What you’ll be doing and held accountable for:
Sales Development:
- Identify and target potential clients in the digital health space.
- Engage with leads through cold calling, emailing, and social media outreach.
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for senior sales team members.
- Provide occasional product demonstrations to prospective clients
- Utilize CRM tools to track interactions and sales progress.
- Report on sales metrics and provide insights into potential improvements.
- Achieve monthly targets and KPIs set by the sales leadership.
Client Relations:
- Maintain a detailed understanding of Healthie’s products and services.
- Ensure consistent follow-up with potential clients to nurture relationships.
- Address and redirect client queries to appropriate departments.
Market Analysis and Outreach Processes:
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities in the digital health sector.
- Collaborate with the Sales/BD/Marketing teams to refine outreach strategies.
- Participate in industry conferences and networking events.
Qualifications: What we expect from you:
- 1-2 years of experience in sales and cold outreach, within healthtech or healthcare; experience prospecting across multiple channels and identifying vectors of outreach
- Proficient in Salesforce and outreach tools (e.g., Apollo)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; can work independently and in a team
- Experience working with Sales Teams and handing off leads to maximize closure rate
- Ability to document quickly, log actions taken and adapt to fast-shifting work environment

Logistics
Location: Remote, United States with strong preference for NYC, Hybrid (2 days per week in office)
This is a full-time W-2 position.
U.S. work authorization is required, Healthie does not provide sponsorship.
The base salary for this role is $50,000. -$60,000. per year + annual company bonus and benefits
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $65,000.- $80,000. which includes base and commissions
The target salary range for this position is part of a competitive total rewards package. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. We review all employee pay and compensation programs annually at minimum to ensure competitive and fair pay.

- Base Salary: A competitive salary in line with your experience & industry standards. Our People & Finance teams benchmark all salaries using Pave. Pave provides real-time data and compensation management workflows that enable us to make fair and defensible compensation decisions.
- Commission: Industry standard commission structure based on performance. BDR will be equipped with leads lists, tools and processes needed to succeed and grow the sales pipeline.
- Stock options: In addition to competitive and benchmarked salary, Healthie offers equity with a traditional 4 year vesting schedule, and a one year cliff.
- Company-wide, performance bonus: We offer employees an annual company-performance basis according to our revenue goals. If Healthie succeeds, you succeed.
- Retirement Planning: Employer sponsored 401(k) match of up to 4%
- Commuter Benefits: Use pre-tax dollars that are deducted directly from your paycheck, so you can get to work with a little less effort.

- Medical, Dental, Vision: benefits start on the first day of the month following your start date. Healthie provides $520./ per month stipend toward your healthcare premiums which fully covers most plan options for the employee and part of the dependents premium. HSA and FSA plans available.
