The Company You’ll Join: It is our mission to create an exceptional firm that betters the world of work. Through granular candidate insights, in-depth employer benchmarking, continuous market pulses, actionable strategies, and recruiting feedback platforms, the team at Veris Insights is advancing the way companies across North America approach recruiting, employer branding, DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), and talent management. We work with hundreds of Fortune 1000 organizations to help them solve their hardest talent challenges and it is our aspiration to be nothing less than the single, unequivocal best partner to every one of these leaders in that pursuit.
The Team You’ll Join: You will be joining the Entry Talent Accelerator Program (ETA). You will be part of an existing cohort of exceptionally talented entry-level analysts looking to grow their careers through targeted skill development and intentional career pathing. Through our internal Learning & Development team, Growth Analysts will be a part of a personalized mentorship program as well as a custom training plan based on their selected career path. The Growth Development Team, a key function within the Growth & Marketing Division, builds a pipeline of future members by serving as our first point of contact with University Recruiting, Talent Acquisition, and DEI leaders interested in our work.
Growth Analysts deliver valuable, actionable insights to these leaders over the phone, email, or LinkedIn each day. Leading prospect interactions with strategic advisory and data-informed insights is how we’ve become one of the faster-growing intelligence startups in the country. Like a Partner at a consulting firm, we drive business through intellectual authority – astutely pinpointing our prospects’ most pressing priorities and opening the door for further advisory. Our Growth Analysts own the first step of this process – their presence, ability to serve as a trusted advisor, and results orientation are key to our success as an organization.
How You’ll Grow: The Entry Talent Accelerator Program is a structured, 1-year program designed to build unparalleled public performance and client-facing skills in entry-level talent with exceptional potential. Through your day-to-day responsibilities as a Growth Analyst as well as structured mentorship and training, you will develop:
Public Speaking: We will teach you how to script speeches and high-pressure interactions, provide tricks and turns of phrase, and give you endless reps. You will come out of the program with a practiced comfort speaking in front of others – be it in a presentation or a dinner party.
Consulting: Central to our work is advising executives. We will teach you how to diagnose client needs, build trust and credibility, and teach without offending. You will come out with a refined ability to advise even the most senior leaders.
Negotiation: Negotiations don’t just involve money. Most interactions in life have an element of negotiation. We’ll teach central tenets of negotiation – what to say, how to say it, how to hold yourself – so that you feel confident navigating any situation to a productive outcome.
Data Analytics: Comfort with data is essential to advising clients. We will teach you how to quickly interpret data to enable real-time client advisory.
The ETA program aims to track participants to one of three client-facing and revenue-generating roles at Veris Insights: Member Experience Strategy Lead (our client success team), Partnership Lead (our renewals team), or Account Advisor (our new business team). In addition to tailored career pathing and coaching, you will also have the opportunity to participate in cross-divisional strategy consulting projects with the ETA cohort to identify innovation opportunities (and next career steps) across the firm. Finally, this role will give you the opportunity to present your findings and successes to executive leadership.
If you meet quota and clearly outlined competency expectations, you can expect to promotion in one year. If the entire ETA cohort meets annual team goals, expect a company-funded group experience to celebrate.
Your Character:
Incisiveness. You will be able to quickly diagnose the priorities and challenges faced by prospective members and identify how to serve each particular need.
Social & intellectual authority. You have the ability and willingness to come in as an equal with all internal team members and external stakeholders – both forming a trusting relationship with them and projecting adequate authority over our internal processes and resources.
Unrivaled professionalism. You understand the importance of being a trusted partner to every single Veris Insights team member and a representative of the Veris Insights brand in every interaction you have with our team, prospects, and clients. This also includes maintaining a level of confidentiality and management of sensitive information.
An all-in approach. You are excited and motivated by the fact that we are a start-up, and, as such, we put an incredible amount of trust in and responsibility on team members from day one.
A bend towards innovation. You are someone who wants to challenge and improve the traditional growth model to build long-term partnerships with our members.
Unrivaled Empathy. At the core of everything we do internally lies an ability to connect and empathize with those we serve. It’s our ability to put ourselves in someone’s shoes that gives us an edge and leaves those in the path feeling genuinely cared for.
Please keep in mind: Research has shown that candidates from underrepresented backgrounds only apply to jobs when they meet 100% of the requirements vs. their majority counterparts, which apply at a much higher rate if they meet 50-60% of the requirements. So, with that being said, if you are interested in the role, we would love to hear how you can leverage your talents to be an awesome culture add.
Our Values & Culture, In Brief: Talent is in our DNA. It is what we study, who we serve, and the quality we most pride ourselves on internally. In order for our team members to be at their best, we provide individualized benefits and support. At the most basic level, benefits include unlimited PTO, health insurance benefits, and career development opportunities. We believe a well-rounded and diverse team is the key to our success. To provide the widest range of experiences and perspectives in our member service and internal culture, we never discriminate on the basis of race, religion, national origin, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, or marital, veteran, or disability status. Please let our recruiter know if there are any accommodations we can provide for you to ensure an equitable and comfortable recruitment process.
We highly value diversity, equity, and inclusion, and this shows up in everything we do. Our research has a significant focus on the experiences of candidates from diverse backgrounds. Internally, we have Employee Resource Groups for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ employees, and Affinity Groups to support women and neurodiversity. Furthermore, we’ve established a Diversity Council to promote a workplace environment that is safe, respectful, and inclusive for all and acts as an active partner to People Ops and Leadership in service of our broader firm-wide DEI goals.
