Job Title: Senior Application Architect
Location: Deerfield, IL
Rate : $55/hr
Preferred Locals or close to IL for a F2F
GC-EAD, GC, USC
Client : Anthem

Experience/Skills/Education:

Bachelor's degree in related field plus 3 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines (or an equivalent combination).
8+ years of design and coding experience with HTML, JavaScript (jQuery and Angular a plus), C#.
8+ years full systems life cycle experience including requirements gathering, functional and technical design, requirements specifications, detail design, program specifications, coding and unit testing /integration testing automation.
8+ years of experience in information technologies and/or 4 years of experience in health care industry preferred.
Understanding of REST, HTTP, ORMs, ASP.NET MVC, WCF and exposure to ASP.NET Web API.
Experience in multiple technology ecosystems is a plus.
Experience with (.Net, Java, Ruby, Go, Python, etc.)
Strong understanding of Domain Driven Design concepts.
Experience in event based integration patterns such as CQRS and Event Streaming.
Experience with Platform As a Service tools and concepts.
Experience with. (IBM BlueMix, Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
Full stack understanding of CI/CD, Automated Testing, Containerization and current trends in Open Source Software.
Understands architecture and design patterns and practices.
