Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Embedded Software Engineer with Java expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software systems, ensuring high-quality standards, efficient issue resolution, and providing technical leadership to the team.

Below will be your job responsibilities as a Lead Embedded Software Engineer – Java:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software systems using Java.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive unit and component tests to ensure software robustness.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team.
  • Work collaboratively with remote leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics and telecommunication Engineering, or a related field.
  • 6 to 10 years of experience in Java programming and embedded software development.
  • Expert proficiency in Java, including advanced class handling and JVM management (Oracle’s standard JDK).
  • Extensive experience with Protocol Buffers (protobuf) or similar protocol.
  • Commanding knowledge of Enterprise Architect and Eso Trace Viewer.
  • Strong expertise in version control systems (GIT/Bitbucket) and issue tracking tools (JIRA).
  • Advanced experience with continuous integration tools (Jenkins) and static code analysis tools (Klocwork).
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
