Your Role in Our Story:
In essence, your role involves:
- Managing the intake and initiation of new projects within the organization.
- Analyzing new project on strategic relevance, required capabilities and business value.
- Coordinating and supporting the process and progress reporting of running projects.
- Reporting on project statuses to support informed decision-making by senior management
- Developing and maturing project PMO process flows, including both processes, templates and tangible deliverables.
- Collaborating closely with multiple departments across the organization, amongst which Project Managers, Product Owners and Finance.
- Contributing to both tactical and strategic project management, with potential growth into strategic ownership roles.
- Supporting Project Managers and delivery teams in their project execution and value tracking.
Your Expertise:
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications and attributes:
- 3-5 years of experience in a PMO (Project Management Office), preferably with additional experience in another role beforehand.
- Proven experience in project management, with a preference for knowledge of Six Sigma and Agile methodologies.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, able to work with various departments and on a wide range of projects.
- Experience in project management outside of IT is welcomed and valued.
- A background in smaller to mid-sized companies is preferred is an asset.
