Our Atlanta-based medical device company is actively seeking a skilled and dedicated Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. This remote position based in the Philippines offers an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional to contribute to our finance team's success. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our accounts receivable, financial records, and assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, primarily using QuickBooks.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable Management: Handle all aspects of accounts receivable, including invoice creation, payment tracking, and resolving payment discrepancies.
Invoice Processing: Assist in processing customer invoices and ensure timely and accurate billing.
Financial Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks, including accounts receivable transactions and general ledger entries.
Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliations to verify the accuracy of accounts receivable and account balances.
Collections: Monitor outstanding accounts, follow up with customers on overdue payments, and negotiate payment plans when necessary.
Reporting: Generate reports related to accounts receivable, such as aging reports and revenue summaries.
Expense Management: Monitor and track company expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software accurately and efficiently.
Support Audits: Assist in preparing documentation and records for financial audits.
Ad Hoc Tasks: Collaborate with the finance team on special projects and additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
Accounting Experience: Previous experience in accounts receivable or finance roles is preferred.
QuickBooks Proficiency: Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential for this role.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial reporting.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Tech-savvy: Comfortable using various accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
