We are now looking for a</p><h2><strong>Key Account Manager, Chemicals</strong></h2><p>Your responsibility is to develop our portfolio of Finnish companies across multiple markets such as construction, pulp &amp; paper, automotive, smeltery and mining, to mention a few. This includes identifying new customer needs and provide technical support with the help of skilled colleagues in various fields. For existing customers, the primary target is to increase volumes and extend the offering. You provide an excellent purchasing experience, so they always choose Univar Solutions as their primary source of ingredients and chemicals. There is also a totally new product for you to introduce; HTF Heat Transfer Fluids. The most probable clients are within HVAC installation and OEMs. </p><p>As our go-to person for the chemicals business in Finland, the ultimate goal is to grow the business so you can grow your Finnish team.<br></p><p> </p><h3><strong>Nordic team:</strong></h3><p>Your team of 12 colleagues are based in Malmö, Gothenburg, Bergen, and Oslo. At the office in Vantaa, you find your Finnish colleagues from other business units. In addition to your team, you will work closely together with product management to provide your customers with the best support from us and our suppliers.</p><h3><strong>Key tasks:</strong> </h3><ul><li>Proactively managing your pipeline to make sure it is filled with business opportunities.</li><li>Planning and performing customers visits online and face-to-face.</li><li>Internal communication and stakeholder management, so that customers receive the service needed. This includes contact with Product Managers, Supply Chain Planners, Customer Service Representatives, and Warehouse Operators.</li><li>Implement won deals and ensuring that our customers call off our products.</li><li>The job requires about 50 travel days per year, depending on your location and way of working. </li></ul><h3><strong></strong><strong>Who are you?</strong></h3><p>To succeed in this role, you should have relevant work experience within B2B sales and a proven track record of successful, modern sales development preferably from chemical distribution, ingredients, construction (HVAC, ground source heating etc.) or similar.</p><p>We provide a solid introduction to our products and business, you bring your power of initiative, business acumen, and entrepreneurial mindset. </p><p>As your manager and teammates are located elsewhere, a high level of independence and self-motivation, and can-do attitude will serve you well. You will report to our Regional Industry Manager in Gothenburg. Fluency in both Finnish and English are a must.
