ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an Offshore Preparator to join our team due to increased activity. The role involves methods, scheduling, preparation, and quality control.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Work Procedures: Use PowerPoint to create, validate, and send work procedures to the client.Structural and Piping Plans: Draw simple plans, launch prefabrication in workshops, and track progress and painting to estimate installation dates.Lifting Procedures: Create and validate simple lifting procedures, then send them to the customer.Material Receipt and Preparation: Check assembly material deliveries, prepare job bags, and update progress in Excel (data entry only).Work Progress and Conformity: Monitor on-site progress and ensure work meets standards.Requests and Permits: Request scaffolding, painting, NDT, etc., and issue work permits.Monitoring and Updates: Regularly update tracking and progress tables for approvals and fabrication.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Profile
- Education : 2/3-year technical degree (BTS CRCI / Licence Pro structures métalliques) or equivalent.
- Experience : 2-5 years' solid experience in maintenance work in the metallurgy sector.
- Skills :
- Hands-on experience in the assembly of piping or offshore structures.
- Basic IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to read isometric/structural/PID drawings.
- Basic knowledge of piping, including fittings, flanges, joints, valves, etc.
- Understanding of structures and familiarity with various profiles.
- Understanding of NDT (Non-Destructive Testing).
Language Requirement: English (B2 - Operational level)Computer Skills: Autocad, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
