<p><strong>Production Operator - Corner Bead Swing Shift</strong></p><p><strong>Role & Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within a manufacaturing setting. </li><li>Responsible for operating production equipment, including troubleshooting and making the necessary adjustments to ensure product and quality specifications are met. </li><li>Responsible for recording production data and quality results with attention to detail. </li><li>Apply basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills to help service equipment. </li><li>Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Assist with inventories as needed. </li><li>Adaptable to scheduling changes including assignment of overtime, weekend work, etc.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications & Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Able to work in a manufacturing environment in a safe manner and follow all plant safety and housekeeping rules.</li><li>Ability to learn to operate and troubleshoot plant equipment. </li><li>Ability to interpret verbal and written work instructions. </li><li>Ability to apply basic computer skills required for dats entry and production reporting.</li><li>Proficiency at taking measurements needed to ensure product meets specifications.</li><li>Possess basic maintenance skills including the use of basic hand tools.</li><li>Effective and positive teamwork and communication skills needed with all co-workers.</li><li>Ability to take direct instructions from supervision.</li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li><li>Maintain regular and predictable attendance. </li></ul><p>Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.</p><p>USG employees enjoy a number of benefit options for themselves and their families.
