What you'll do:
- Work with the Rockwall Lead Kid's Pastor to execute the vision and strategy for LP Kids in all grade school environments at your campus
- Be the primary recruiter and team builder for K-3 environments at your campus
- Actively engage in and contribute to monthly worship sessions during All Staff
- Work systems to effectively onboard new serve team members in all K-3 environments at your campus
- Lead the K-3 staff, captains, and coaches to recruit, onboard, train, plan, and schedule serve team members to make a difference for all K-3 programming at your campus
- Be an engaging leader who provides direction, oversight, training, development, and accountability to the K-3 staff and serve team members
- Develop grade school staff with one on ones, training, and consistent reviews
- Attend multiple classes and gatherings each months to connect with those who are new or not yet serving at Lakepointe
- Ensure grade school programming is being executed at a high level through the grade school staff
- Partner with the Preschool and Pre-Teen pastors to ensure handoffs between ministries and successful and no families fall through the cracks
- Work through the grade school staff to execute events that help grade school children grow in their relationship with Jesus
Skills & Experience you’ve had:
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of Kid's Ministry church staff experience
- Have built a robust volunteer team
- Previous experience supervising staff preferred
