Eram Talent, a leading independent talent acquisition company, is seeking a highly skilled Industrial / Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team. As an Industrial / Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be responsible for improving and optimizing manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, design and implement process changes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze manufacturing processes, identify areas of improvement, and develop solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Design and implement process changes, including the introduction of new equipment or technology, to optimize manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate with production teams to develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Conduct time studies and work measurement to establish labor standards and improve labor efficiency.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as waste reduction and energy conservation.
- Lead or participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address process-related issues and improve quality performance.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Support new product development and introduction by providing input on process feasibility, capacity requirements, and production costs.
- Train and mentor production personnel on new processes, equipment, and techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as an Industrial / Manufacturing Process Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, such as Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S.
- Experience in process optimization, process mapping, and value stream analysis.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in sectors such as automotive, consumer goods, or electronics.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to environmental, health, and safety.
