Merchandiser / Junior Buyer

We are seeking a Merchandiser / Junior Buyer to oversee and manage new product introductions into our company’s ever-growing portfolio. In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our marketing, sales and buying team and driving our merchandising strategy forward. What You’ll Do

·         Collaborate with management team to implement exciting category initiatives.

·         Dive deep into sales trends and assist in developing strategies for growth.

·         Manage the lifecycle of product categories, from markdowns to reorders.

·         Assist in assortment planning, purchase order execution, and vendor communication.

·         Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on opportunities.

·         Act as a brand ambassador, communicating category initiatives to stakeholders.

·         Embrace hands-on opportunities, including attending trade shows and supporting in-store merchandising and sales efforts.

·         Use analytics tools to assess and modify product launches.

Contribute to overall weekly product reporting

Requirements

What You’ll Bring

·         Collaborative perspective with a positive attitude

·         Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

·         Ability to lead projects end to end

·         Experience with inventory analytical tools

·         Experience with MRP/ERP software

·         Strong analytical and market research skills

Preferred Experience

·         1-3 years experience in merchandising of agricultural products
