Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Product Manager with a background in education to join our team. This role will focus on building strong relationships with schools and educators to ensure that our products are user-centric and impactful. You will be responsible for leading user testing, gathering feedback from students and teachers, and working closely with internal teams to refine the product. As the bridge between product development and the education community, you’ll play a key role in shaping our product’s success in classrooms.
Essential Functions:
- Lead Amira’s ambassador program & community
- Leverage relationships with schools, teachers, and education communities to facilitate user testing, gather feedback, and get videos for use by sales teams
- Act as a champion of our product strategy within the education sector, effectively communicating the product’s value to teachers and educators
- Develop a deep understanding of the product and support customer-facing teams (sales, support, etc.) with product-related inquiries
- Develop a deep understanding of the data available to educators and coach customer-facing teams on understanding this data and communicating it to customers
- Develop product marketing collateral to support internal and partner teams in understanding new product features
- Develop and maintain a library of product screenshots for use by support, success, and RFP teams
- Participate in product strategy and roadmap development; collaborate with internal teams to ensure new product development aligns with the needs of teachers and students
- Support scrum teams in development of new product features by creating and managing epics and user stories, working hand-in-hand with engineers, designers, and the rest of the product team
Qualifications:
- Experience as an educator in early literacy
- Experience leading user testing and product feedback cycles, especially within an education technology context
- Strong ability to build relationships and communicate effectively with educators, both teachers and leaders
- Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, including creating epics, managing user stories, and working closely with cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with JIRA for agile project management.
- Previous experience working in educational technology or with AI-driven platforms
