Hire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our client's team in Pretoria.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage projects in the field of civil engineering
- Ensure projects are completed within budget and on time
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
- Perform site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and quality
- Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates
- Handle documentation and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Non-negotiable requirement: National diploma in Civil Engineering (Project Management and N3 qualifications are insufficient).
- The position is for a Site Agent but requires a skill level akin to a Contract Manager, with compensation commensurate to this seniority.
- Experience must include "greenfields development," encompassing comprehensive infrastructure expertise in water and sewer reticulation, roads, stormwater installation, and mass earthworks (all aspects of civil construction).
- Proficiency in CCS (Candy) is essential, with the ability to independently handle payment certificates.
- Capability to schedule projects and achieve production targets is crucial.
- Candidates below this threshold need not apply, as this role requires more than a Site Manager's skill set.
- Willingness to reside in Sasolburg for approximately 18 months initially, potentially extending over three years with additional phases (negotiable).
