Bank Auditors (All Levels) - Los Angeles, CA
Our client is a leading audit, tax and advisory firm headquartered in New York City with working locations around the country. They are seeking several talented bank auditors to work in their Internal Audit and Consulting practice in the Los Angeles, CA office. The ideal candidate will have broad experience providing internal and/or external audit, assurance, and advisory services to companies in the financial services industry (banking). This position offers an exciting and challenging opportunity within an innovative and expanding domestic and global organization.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop Internal Audit policies and procedures, internal audit plans, programs and audit work papers
- Develop and maintain the risk assessment program
- Support the audit function for our financial institution clients
- Manage Internal Audit and Risk Management engagements
- Write clear and appropriate management reports that would include, but not be limited to, key findings and recommendations
- Assist with regulatory and audit training as needed
- Provide support to Audit research and development
- Participate in client meetings and executive presentations
- Make presentations to clients as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 2 - 15 years of professional Audit experience in the banking industry or regulatory industries
- CAMS/CRCM/CRP designation a plus
- Exposure to all areas of Bank Audit, e.g., BSA/AML, SOX, Compliance Lending, Accounting, Lending, Operations and Product Lines
- Ability to interpret regulations and laws and disseminate information
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft PC software and applications
- Public Accounting background a plus
- Travel flexibility required
