Rate: $55-58hr C2C

Must Have: Front & Back End Development, C#.NET and Angular
This team is currently working with WinForms and WebForms and will be migrating later this year, around Q3 to working in Angular, so they will ideally have both, but have some time to learn improve their skills as well before the transition.

Job description

Position: Software Developer
Location: Princeton NJ
Status: Contract
Salary: TBD

The candidate works in a dynamic, rapid application development environment involving a diverse technology stack that includes C#, ASP.NET, Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML5, node.js, AngularJS, WebAPI, JSON, Entity Framework and LINQ. Experience with C++/MFC and PL/SQL is a plus, but not required. The business domain is asset management in the intermodal transportation industry. The candidate will be involved in all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including, gathering business requirements, analysis, design, software development and production support. Candidate must be focused, hard-working and self-motivated.

Responsibilities:

Document business requirements according to established department standards
Design and prototype UI's
Implement design elements in conformance with established standards
Develop and modify front-end/business tier code (implemented in C#.NET, Winforms, Webforms and Angular)
Design database structures (Oracle), develop and modify database code (implemented in Oracle PL/SQL)
Conduct unit tests
Design and deploy web applications in Node.js web server
Participate in the system testing and deployment processes
Interact with IT management regarding work assignments and status
Coordinate development and testing efforts with other team members
Assist in production support and troubleshooting
Automate and optimize processes

Qualifications:

2-3 years working in the Agile environment
3-5 years of experience working with the following technologies: C#, ASP.NET, Oracle PL/SQL, JavaScript, HTML5 (or HTML and sound knowledge in HTML5)
1-3 years of experience working with AngularJS, WebAPI, JSON and Entity Framework with LINQ
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Knowledge of all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Specific experience in the intermodal or transportation industries is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Team- oriented, with excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to function effectively in a fast paced, team oriented work environment
Demonstrated success in project team setting
Competently handle competing, multiple priorities
Willingness to adapt and learn new technologies and methodologies
Ability to work independently as well as a part of a team
Provide technical leadership, train and mentor junior team members
Strong work ethic, critical thinker
Ability to quickly adapt to change
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
