Product Designer (2-3 yrs)

About us:

At its heart, Probo is an opinion trading platform building prediction markets for India. On Probo, users can find questions on many topics of their interest, like sports, news, finance  and many more. Users can swipe yes or no to express their opinion and place trade(s), and by doing so they enter into an event contract with another user on the other side of the trade. Probo is a matching engine that enables the execution of this event contract. Each trade is INR 10, and at the end of the event contract, the user with the correct opinion wins the quantum at stake.

About the role:
As a Product Designer, you’ll tackle user problems and help achieve business goals through crafting delightful, accessible, and easy-to-use designs. 
You’ll be a core member for defining and implementing Probo’s design language for millions of users.

Who will you work with?
You will primarily work alongside product, engineering and customer support teams on projects requiring a strong focus on visual solutions. 

What skills & qualifications are we looking for? 

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• An up-to-date portfolio of UX/product design work samples focussing on visual design. This role needs excellent craftsmanship skills.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate your designs to stakeholders, engineers and the wider team.
• Use of Design Systems.
• Gathering user feedback via primary and secondary research studies, usability sessions et al.
• Motion design experience would be a plus!
