Product Research & Innovation (Raw Data) Intern

We are looking for an intern to join our Product, Research & Innovation (PR&I) team that will help us advance the capabilities of our ESG Data 🚀

The role provides an opportunity to get to know complex sustainability issues and learn about frameworks and solutions that address them. Working close to the methodologies and the data, you’ll quickly become a knowledgeable individual in the field of ESG. 🪴

Working as an intern in our PR&I team, you will be responsible for… 

• Reviewing company-level sustainability issues including environmental, social and corporate governance practices, and synthesizing these findings into broader frameworks.
• Procuring, verifying,and processing data on sustainability by browsing through various financial, exchange, and government regulator websites and materials. 
• Assessing trade-offs between different methodological options to calculate indicators and propose the most appropriate solution for our product.
• Identifying and proposing improvements and refinements to our methodologies.

Requirements

What You’ll Need

• A degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or any other quantitative discipline.
• Familiarity with SQL and/or Python languages. Ability to handle complex data sets.
• Outstanding quantitative and critical thinking skills.
• Self-starter, able to take ownership and initiative, with high energy and stamina.
• Decisive and action-oriented, able to make rapid decisions even when short of information.
• Highly motivated, independent, and deeply passionate about sustainability and impact.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills (minimum C1 level-proficient user), as you will be working with english-speaking colleagues

Nice to have

• Having previous working experience will be a plus.
• Prior knowledge of the energy sector is an advantage.
• Prior knowledge of corporate governance, ESG, and/or financial markets is an advantage.
