The Role

A rare senior P&C generalist opportunity has arisen to join our team to work closely with our EMEA & LATAM leaders and teams as a trusted partner, driving strategic and operational outcomes. This hands-on role supports effective regional People & Culture operations enabling our high performance culture. In addition to partnering with regional stakeholders and outcomes, this role will also work on global P&C projects and initiatives, with stakeholders across APAC/Australia.

As our Senior People & Culture Partner your key generalist responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Proactively partner and communicate with P&C leaders, regional teams, fostering strong, productive relationships
  • Inform and influence key stakeholders with data to enhance operational decision making and business outcomes aligned with strategy
  • Be a trusted partner with influence and act as coach and confidante for senior leaders
  • Play a lead supporting role amongst our small team of P&C generalists and Payroll team for global cyclical initiatives (performance, remuneration, engagement, etc.) helping ensure clear communication and consistency in approach across all regions
  • Work closely with P&C generalists, Learning & Development and the Talent team to collaborate on outcomes relating to organizational design/succession planning, change management, leadership, talent management and talent acquisition
  • Help foresee, prevent and navigate employee relations issues and organisational risks
  • Ensure a high level of confidentiality and record accurate timely data and documentation across EMEA/LATAM
  • Lead / oversee periodic data reviews/reports to ensure high level of HR governance, ensuring accuracy of data, analyse workforce trends and provide recommendations to the business (e.g. referencing reports and dashboard metrics)
  • Lead, mentor and coach the P&C Advisor - EMEA/LATAM
  • Proactively research, review, suggest and action improvements P&C processes, technology, methodologies and policies
  • Lead / coordinate local and global P&C projects and initiatives supported by the wider P&C team
  • Contribute to P&C strategy, goal setting and global P&C policies for Pepperstone
  • Create and send on-brand, creative communications on behalf of P&C internally and externally
  • Providing direct support to the Chief People Officer as required
  • International ad hoc travel as required, e.g. up to 4 times per year

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • 5 years’ + business partnering / generalist experience, including leading others, ideally in a tech start-up or high growth company (preferred)
  • Graduate or post-graduate tertiary qualification in HR, psychology, or substantial relevant HR experience
  • Experience in fast-paced, results oriented environments supporting outcome focused stakeholders
  • Experience in navigating employee issues in different regions and experience in effective change management with multiple, geographically dispersed stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management, organisational and prioritisation skills
  • A sense of comfort in with working amongst ambiguity at times, in a matrix environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven strong stakeholder skills with the ability to influence, negotiate and articulate information at all levels
  • An aptitude for working with technology, you're onboard with the potential of AI!
  • Attributes of collaboration, drive, approachability and hands-on in approach

  • Ability to travel internationally ad hoc
