Roles & Responsibilities
- Development of apps, tools, and services with PHP frameworks like Yii2, CodeIgniter, and Laravel (Optional)
- Implement APIs
- Integrate HTML and front-end deliverables
- Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications & customer requirements
- Estimating the development efforts required and chasing weekly / monthly targets.
- Follow best practices of SDLC, Programming, Change control, and Code reviews
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Create technical documentation for reference and reporting
- Work with development, staging, and production environments seamlessly
- Collaboration with project/product management teams and other stakeholders
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
Qualification & Experience
- BS / MS in Computer Science/IT or relevant degree
- 1 to 3 years of experience with PHP Frameworks
- Relevant certification will be a plus
Skills
- Experience in PHP frameworks like Yii2, Laravel, CodeIgniter (any of them)
- Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks including jQuery, AJAX
- Hands-on with Frontend tools & technologies like HTML5, CSS3, BootStrap
- Knowledge of CICD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Travis CI, Fast Lane, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL Databases development e.g. MySQL AWS RDS/Aurora, MongoDB
- Experience with 3rd Party API implementation and integrations
- Sound knowledge of code versioning tools such as GitHub/GitLab
- Good knowledge of AWS (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.) will be a plus point.
- Understanding front-end libraries and frameworks such as AngularJS / ReactJS / VueJS will be a plus point
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools
- Willingness to work with new technologies and explore them for project benefits.
