Cruise is seeking to hire an experienced and motivated technology resource to lead the Consumer Technology (CT) team within the Integrated Business Operational Technology Solutions organization. The CT team owns Cruise’s customer, marketing, and risk applications including Salesforce, Braze, Riskonnect, and Branch. CT selects, implements, and maintains the applications, platforms, and tools that enable their stakeholders in Operations, Marketing, and Risk Management to do its best work. We do this by building best in class technical solutions that are prepared to scale, are developed on a common set of data, and are seamlessly integrated.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Manage CT support across the tracks of Operations, Marketing, and Risk Management
  • Manage and sustain a team of developers and analysts who can effectively deploy and scale CT and other systems
  • Work together with business partners to understand and define requirements and processes to drive application evolution
  • Work in collaboration with other IT professionals for extended project staffing and support
  • Partner with other business teams to understand the requirements of new business initiatives and how those may impact the existing environment
  • Lead quarterly sprint planning
  • Own the execution of a multi-year technical roadmap in line with business goals
  • Prepare and present executive summaries for project and run the business activities
  • Provide hands on support when needed and guide design suggestions
  • Deliver and measure continuous improvement by identification and design of both system and process improvements with the goal of providing an improved user experience
  • Drive technology assessments and participate in the purchasing process for new technologies 
  • Oversee professional service engagements managing resource hours and overall project budgets

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 6+ years of experience with Salesforce and 2+ years of experience in people management 
  • Proficient in Apex
  • Experience with Braze or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Demonstrate servant leadership
  • Strong business acumen with excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills in order to work effectively with management, vendors, and other functional teams
  • Experience driving agile processes
  • Proven ability to deal with ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment, resolve problems and offer impacting solutions
  • Can prepare and give robust presentations
  • Deep understanding of the role of Operations, Marketing, and Risk Management in a fast maturing company
  • Influence without authority while working cross functionally within and outside the organization
  • Can manage multiple projects simultaneously using a mix of collaboration and leadership competencies
  • Ability to architect and design end to end solutions by taking into account user needs and the overall technology landscape
  • Bachelor’s degree in role related field required

The salary range for this position is $171,400 - $252,000. Compensation will vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. You may also be offered a bonus, long-term incentives, and benefits. These ranges are subject to change.
