<p>As we continue to grow through 2024, OCU Group we are continuing with our sustained growth in all areas of our business. Due to this, we now have an opportunity for a SHEQ Coordinator to join our team based out of our Bridgend Depot.</p><p>The purpose of the role is to provide administrative support to the Head of Health and safety, Head of Environment and Quality and the regional SHEQ team.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking to take the next step and develop a career path in health, safety, environment and quality with a fast moving and growing company, at the forefront of the utilities industry.</p><p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Be the central point of contact for regional SHEQ team and manage the flow of information.</li><li>Collate information to enable review the effectiveness of SHEQ Management Systems.</li><li>Collate data to enable project performance against leading indicators.</li><li>Assist in the maintenance of training matrix and identifying gaps.</li><li>Assist in logging personal details of new starters. </li><li>Co-ordinate the data inputting and tracking of accidents, incidents, and corrective actions to our system. </li><li>Supporting front line managers with system access and enrolling new starters </li><li>Assist in the completion and distribution of SHEQ communications and documentation. </li><li>Support the delivery of projects and campaigns to aid continuous improvement. </li></ul><p><strong>Skills and Experience: </strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in a similar type of role advantageous. </li><li>Safety related qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH/SHEA) or experience working with management systems is desirable.</li><li>Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint essential).</li><li>Comfortable working as part of a team and confident liaising with stakeholders.</li><li>Ability to work alone.</li><li>A high level of attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication, organisation, and time management skills.</li><li>Must be adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced environment. </li></ul><p><strong>Company information:</strong></p><p>Established in 1994, OCU Group is one of the fastest growing utility engineering contractors in the UK, with a long successful track record in delivering customer-focused civil engineering solutions.</p><p>Working directly with many of the country’s leading blue-chip power, water, telecoms, and rail clients, we are looking for the very best talent to join our growing team.</p><p>We pride ourselves on empowering our employees and offering opportunities for them to take control of their own personal development and career progression in a supportive environment.</p><p>We believe that being successful is a choice.</p><p>We choose to be successful.</p><p>We are OCU, ‘One Company United’.</p><p><strong>We celebrate difference and appreciate diverse backgrounds.
