Description:Provide technical support and perform maintenance of assigned assets (work order completion, preventive maintenance, machine planned and unplanned down time support). Improve operating teams' technical skills and assist in line operation as required. Closely collaborate with reliability team, operations asset team, engineering and other maintenance team members. Entry Level position that requires an Associate’s Degree/ Bachelor’s Degree or 0-2 years of equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:- Processing RMAs related to product complaints.
- Servicing of returned control units and completing documentation.
- Evaluating returned product complaints.
- Working with Manufacturing Engineering to understand failure trends and implement solutions.
- Reporting repair results through various channels of communications.
- Adherence to quality system control with special emphasis on FDA documentation.
- An aptitude for and an understanding of mechanical systems.
Additional Job Details:The Service Technician will work with in the Operations department on servicing returned products, testing new products and in whatever other capacity as dictated by the needs of the company and the ability of the technician. The tech’s mechanical aptitude will be called upon to properly perform service functions as well as to diagnose problems with defective product. Individual must be a self-starter, able to work with or without direct supervision. He or she must have good interpersonal and communication skills and be able to work closely with other groups on developing projects. Tremendous attention to detail will be required. •
