In this dynamic role, you’ll ensure our IT systems run smoothly, securely, and cost-effectively, all while delivering outstanding support to our users and stakeholders.<br> <br><strong>This is what you will do:</strong></p><p>1. Cloud Infrastructure Management</p><ol></ol><ul><li><strong>Monitor & Maintain:</strong> Ensure our Azure/MSS cloud infrastructure operates at peak performance.</li><li><strong>Deploy & Configure:</strong> Set up and manage virtual machines, containers, storage solutions, databases, and networking components.</li></ul><p>2. IT Service Management</p><ul><li><strong>Help Desk Leadership:</strong> Oversee our IT help desk to guarantee timely and effective resolution of user issues and service requests.</li><li><strong>Service Delivery:</strong> Manage incident responses, problem resolution, and routine service requests to maintain high customer satisfaction.</li></ul><p>3. Supplier & Vendor Management</p><ul><li><strong>Relationship Building:</strong> Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with IT suppliers and vendors.</li><li><strong>Contract & Procurement:</strong> Negotiate contracts and manage procurement to ensure we receive cost-effective, high-quality IT solutions.</li><li><strong>Performance Evaluation:</strong> Regularly assess supplier performance against service level agreements (SLAs).</li></ul><p>4. Technical Troubleshooting & Performance Optimization</p><ul><li><strong>Issue Resolution:</strong> Quickly identify and resolve technical issues, including downtime, software glitches, and security breaches.</li><li><strong>System Tuning:</strong> Optimize system performance by addressing slow services, network congestion, and other performance bottlenecks.</li></ul><p>5. Security, Compliance & Disaster Recovery</p><ul><li><strong>Policy Implementation:</strong> Develop and enforce security policies to protect our cloud infrastructure from cyber threats.</li><li><strong>Compliance:</strong> Ensure all systems meet industry standards and best practices.</li><li><strong>Disaster Recovery:</strong> Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery systems to safeguard critical data.</li></ul><p>6. Software & Service Maintenance</p><ul><li><strong>Upgrades & Patches:</strong> Keep all cloud software and services updated, ensuring systems are patched against vulnerabilities.</li><li><strong>Regular Maintenance:</strong> Schedule and perform necessary upgrades and maintenance to ensure continuous smooth operation.</li></ul><p>7. Capacity Planning & Cost Optimization</p><ul><li><strong>Future-Proofing:</strong> Plan for future IT infrastructure needs to support our growth and expansion.</li><li><strong>Cost Management:</strong> Monitor cloud resource usage and implement strategies to optimize costs and maximize ROI.</li></ul><p>8. Documentation & Process Automation</p><ul><li><strong>Maintain Records:</strong> Create and update comprehensive documentation covering configurations, network diagrams, security policies, and cost reports.</li><li><strong>Automate Processes:</strong> Develop and manage automated workflows to enhance efficiency and reduce manual tasks.</li></ul><p><strong><br></strong><strong>To be successful in the role you will demonstrate:</strong></p><p>Education & Experience:</p><ul><li>Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).</li><li>5+ years of experience as a System Engineer, IT Specialist, or in a similar role.</li><li>Hands-on experience with Azure or AWS cloud services.</li></ul><p>Technical Skills:</p><ul><li>Knowledge of cloud services (virtual machines, containers, storage, etc.).</li><li>Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jira and Confluence.</li><li>Experience with agile practices, performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization.</li><li>Understanding of backup/disaster recovery systems and cybersecurity best practices.</li><li>Ability to implement automated processes.</li></ul><p>Soft Skills:</p><ul><li>Excellent communication and presentation skills.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.</li><li>A proactive, self-starter who can handle multiple tasks.</li><li>A team player with an outgoing personality, ready to work with global teams</li></ul><p></p><ul></ul><p>To thrive at Zeekr we believe that you have the courage to lead with trust and care and you don’t mind getting your hands dirty.
