We have an opportunity in our OnAccount team for an Intermediate full stack developer to join us in developing varied codebases and delivering solutions for clients in NZ and overseas. You will be a full stack developer across SQL, .Net, Javascript, and React, and you can adapt to a dynamic environment with changing priorities.  For the right person, this unique role offers plenty of client interaction, code variety, and scope for development. 

As our team all work directly with our clients, ideally you will have experience working closely with clients and are a strong communicator. Previous accounting knowledge or exposure to accounting systems is a plus.

Our tech stack

We work across a variety of technologies, although we specialise in a Microsoft stack. We always select the right technology based on our client's needs. We primarily build web-based applications but also have opportunities for mobile development.

To be successful, you will have:

• Microsoft SQL Server 
• .NET, WebAPI, MVC or WebForms
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript.  
• Knowledge of functional React, preferably 16.8+
• General interest or knowledge of financial systems and business processes
• An interest in all aspects of the SDLC 
• In-depth knowledge of ES6 syntax
• Experience using a 3rd party component library (MaterialUI)
• In-depth knowledge of Git, including standard development lifecycle (feature branching, pull requests, CI/CD)
• Flexibility to work across both legacy and newer technologies
• Some experience writing system documentation

The salary is dependent on skills and experience. The range for an intermediate Software Developer is $90-$125K. Standard working hours are 40 hours per week.
