Job Description:
- Build vehicle geometry from CAD models using TeamCenter and Unigraphics for building vehicle thermal analysis models.
- Clean, repair and separate geometry in ANSA to be accommodated in the internal thermal simulation work process.
- Mesh geometry using Ansa for Volume meshing
- Develop thermal analysis models for component temperatures for steady state and transient conditions.
- Conduct analytical simulations using CAE tools to evaluate vehicle component temperature and evaluate component thermal risk.
- Conduct follow-up and counter-measure simulations to improve parts performance
- Work as a team member to support full vehicle development
- Support to increase efficiency of CFD model building and parts changes
- Post-Processing Thermal Analysis using Paraview
- Gather feedback from users, manage and update process & CAE software tools to meet continuous design changes.
Requirements: - At least two years of experience in computational fluid analysis at automotive or similar industry.
- BSc or Masters in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong and effective English communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to apply these skills cooperatively in a team of experienced professionals.
- Academic background with direct experience or specialization in heat transfer.
Software: - Star-CCM, Star-CD, ANSA, Ensight, Paraview
- NX, Team center
- Microsoft Office
- Windows and Linux operating systems
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in conducting thermal analysis for Lead Acid & Lithium Ion Battery thermal management
Additional Information / Must Have's: - Mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering
- GPA better than 3.8/4.0
- Heat transfer courses and thermal background preferred
