Mob Entertainment is a startup multimedia studio that is best known for our hit indie horror game "Poppy Playtime".  Poppy Playtime is one of hottest new properties in gaming, and our team is naturally expanding as our ambition expands.  To give a taste of our brand's popularity, Poppy Playtime had 7.5 billion views of Huggy Wuggy videos on YouTube.

MOB Entertainment is looking for a Director of Licensing  to manage a team and process throughout the company in Video Games, Animation and Movies.  We are looking for someone that is ready to take on the challenge to lead our licensing team to the next level.  Someone that wants to move FAST!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Managing partner accounts

  • Ensuring that partner accounts comply with their grant of rights and that production and marketing timelines are met 

Developing licensing programs

  • Building and directing the vision and execution of licensing programs for a team 

Creating forecasts

  • Creating quarterly forecasts and tracking product launches and sales results 

Providing feedback

  • Providing feedback and brand direction on visual assets, product mockups, packaging, and marketing collateral 

Collaborating with internal teams

  • Collaborating with brand sponsors and internal stakeholders to drive in-game and on-site activations 

Analyzing data

  • Regularly compiling physical and digital sales data to develop pacing analyses and forecasts 

Evaluating tools and processes

  • Continually evaluating tools, technology, and processes to identify new business efficiencies 

Negotiating agreements

  • Negotiating licensing agreements and commercial terms for outbound licensing 
  • Identifying emerging opportunities
  • Expanding our portfolio of products outside the normal toys, books and apparel

Some other responsibilities may include: 

  • Developing outreach strategies 
  • Owning the overall production strategy for licensing projects 
  • Working with the legal team to ensure smooth contract flow 
  • Sourcing licensed collaboration opportunities 

WHAT YOU NEED: 

  • Experience in content distribution, licensing, and business development 
  • An ability to balance insights and data with gut and instinct 
  • A strong understanding of global markets and consumer targets
  • The ability to identify global key market opportunities that are unrealized or underdeveloped, aggressively pursue those opportunities, with strategies for success and measured results on a consistent basis to provide revenue realization and extended  growth of those target markets and the demographics within, by collaborating with our talented Analytics team
  • Solid experience developing and nurturing relationships with major retailers such as Walmart, Target, etc to further their knowledge and awareness of our brand and exciting projects we are developing on the upcoming horizon
