Lead Design Research & Strategy Specialist
Job Description:

• Leads UX strategy for platforms and products; influences roadmaps and business decisions by providing UX considerations; participates in roadmap planning and virtual teams; represents UX to our partners.
• Develops and executes User Experience (UX) solutions for internal user facing online applications and websites.
• Creates complex, industry-leading user interface design solutions.
• Serves as design "advocate" with the ability to forecast and assess industry trends and their impact on the company's product design alternatives.
• Establishes and promotes design guidelines, best practices and standards.
• Oversees the execution of strategic design projects that influence design and strategic direction of the company.
• Builds and enhances strong working relationships within Wells Fargos information / interface design function and community.
• Demonstrates ability to work effectively across relevant business units and with company leaders.
• Provides product usability, evaluation and support to product development teams.
• May oversee work performed by others and serves as a mentor to the direction of the unit while not managing people.
• Presents and defends designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
• Serves as SME for all aspects of UX for assigned initiatives.

• 5+ years of experience in the following: communications, human factors, information sciences, graphic, and visual arts demonstrated through work or military experience.

• 3+ years of experience developing and executing UX research strategies through the use of various UX research tactics (e.g., developing personas, experience mapping, conducting contextual user research and UX measurement activities).
• 1+ years of experience working in agile (Scrum) environments, with a proven understanding of how to apply the agile methodology to the user journey.
• Experience working in a complex, highly regulated environment.
