The Role:

We are seeking a Payroll payments lead to oversee and manage our daily payments operation and strategy globally. The individual in this role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payment processing.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the payments function globally, ensuring timely payouts across all categories
• Build and lead a high-performing payments team
• Manage relationships with service providers, financial institutions, and third-party vendors to enhance payment processing capabilities and negotiate favourable terms.
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures
• Ensure compliance with relevant payment regulations and industry standards, and implement robust security measures to protect customer data and financial transactions.
• Continuously optimise the payment experience, improving processes, driving accuracy and efficiency, using data driven insights
• Collaborate with other departments, including product, customer support, and ecommerce, to align payment strategies with overall business goals and customer satisfaction.
• Resolve any issues or disputes related to payments or invoices

Requirements:

• Proven global experience in similar role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• In-depth knowledge of payment processing
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong understanding of payment compliance and security requirements.
