At Auror, we’re empowering the retail industry to tackle theft and Organised Retail Crime, a $100 Billion problem globally. It’s high volume crime that’s increasingly organised in nature and is putting people, retailers, and communities at risk every day.
Founded in New Zealand, we’re working with some of the best and largest retailers in the world across the UK, Australasia and North America.
Auror is connecting people and intelligence to reduce crime. We’re harnessing data for good.
In partnership with our leading retail partners, we need people with the passion, determination, and innovation required to overcome one of the world's largest problems. If you’re looking to make a difference with and for the people dedicated to stopping crime, for good, then we want you on our team.
The Role:
As our Content Marketing Lead, you’ll bring the following skills and experience:
This role involves leading the global content marketing strategy which you will set in partnership with multiple teams. You will be working closely with global teams like Field Marketing, Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Brand Design, and Strategic Communications to support company-level priorities, regional execution, and the growth of Auror’s connected media engine.
Content Marketing at Auror brings our story to life via multiple formats and channels. These include but are not limited to: blogs, case studies, whitepapers, research content (industry reports), email newsletters, video storyboards, and podcasts.
As Content Marketing Lead, you embrace pace and context switching, confident in going from editing to writing – from strategy to project management – in one morning. You’re open to support ad-style copywriting and well-versed in the fundamentals of SEO. You can execute exceptional work on minimal context. As a champion for our brand narrative, you’ll keep our internal teams informed and aligned, and manage our agencies and freelancers. You will also lead an Auckland-based Content Producer within Auror. To maximize our potential, you’re committed to operational excellence and use your editorial management chops to keep the trains running on time.
Requirements
This role will report to Jimmy Girot, Director of Global Field Marketing (Denver)
A writer at heart, I built my first website and blog as a sophomore in college. That experience led me down a non-linear path of local journalism, advertising, entrepreneurship, and software. I’ve enjoyed building and leading successful teams across functions like content marketing, brand creative, strategic insights, and GTM. Now, I have the privilege of leading field marketing at Auror, which includes a world-class content marketing team.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring Colorado with my wife and three children. Our favorite place is Estes Park! I’m always in a book, STILL love writing, and any given Saturday throughout the Fall you can find me watching as much college football as my family will tolerate. As a former college football player, continual improvement and seeking feedback are important to me.
