About the Team

The Enablement and Post-Sale team is focused on enhancing merchant service operations, ensuring that we set all of our merchants up for success by providing a seamless store partnership, marketing, & menu update experience. 

About the Role

In this role, specifically, you will work to ensure that our high-touch merchants receive a high-quality menu update experience. As an Enablement Specialist, you will report to the Merchant Services Supervisor on our Enablement team within our Merchant Services organization. You will work closely with our Strategy, Vendors, Enterprise Merchants, and Sales teams to maintain the integrity and optimization of our merchants’ menus, and you will master essential Merchant Services functions and manage Salesforce cases and queues. Once our offices reopen, we expect this role to flex time in-office where there is no mandated number of days in the office, but there is occasional in-office presence required for onboarding, training, and events. 

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Use Data Loader to bulk upload new records in Salesforce and bulk update existing records in Salesforce to ensure our merchant data is up to date and our internal operations are running smoothly.
  • Use Salesforce to monitor and manage enablement requests.
  • Use DoorDash Internal Tools to update store-level information, build and maintain menus, and activate other post-sale requests.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, operation managers, organizations and vendors, and other teams to ensure a seamless merchant onboarding and service experience
  • Document and train internal teams on new processes
  • Diagnose and resolve time-sensitive operational issues flagged by internal and external stakeholders.

  • You have strong Excel/Google Sheets, Salesforce, and/or Mode/SQL skills and are comfortable learning new technical tools and teaching them to others. 
  • You have 2+ years of experience in a process/project/program management or operations role; high-growth startup experience preferred.
  • You have strong written/verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
  • You are extremely organized and detail-oriented and can balance multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously.
  • You have strong project and operational management skills and data analysis skills.
  • You are a problem-solver, and you enjoy diagnosing issues and developing creative approaches to solve challenges.
  • You are comfortable working in fast-paced and demanding environments, and you are able to work in ambiguous environments.
  • You are customer-centric - you have a customer-first mentality, and are effective at working with people with varying degrees of technical ability.
  • You are an owner and you manage your time well.
  • You’re naturally curious – You always look for ways to innovate and improve and want to shape the vision and direction of the company.
