Symmetrio is actively recruiting a contract Senior Business Analyst for a 6 month term, with a possibility for extension with our customer, an international food services and facilities company. For this role, the candidate must be located in the Philadelphia area to be able to come to our customer's Philadelphia office once per week. The Senior Business Analyst will have extensive experience eliciting business and technical requirements from stakeholders and functional leadership, and gathering requirements for user interface, reporting and data-related projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in the development of pricing and cost models that allows informed business decision making.
We are considering both 1099 and W2 consultants
This is a hybrid role out of Philadelphia, PA
Responsibilities
- Conduct work sessions with business stakeholders and functional leads to analyze current state processes and systems
- Gather, document, and communicate requirements for future state reporting and user interface enhancements
- Work with disparate data sets to develop pricing and cost models to allow customer to make informed business decisions.
- Develop and maintain clear, detailed, and precise documentation
- Manage and deliver tasks in a timely manner to ensure business profitability
- Identify and propose process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of implemented solutions to ensure they meet business requirements
- Provide post-implementation support and training to end-users as needed
Requirements
- Deep understanding of data and reporting requirements gathering methodologies and processes; candidates must provide detailed examples during the interview
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills; candidates must demonstrate proficiency during the interview
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering tasks on time; candidates must provide detailed examples of their methodology and process before or during the interview
- Experience with pricing and POS data is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and propose innovative solutions
- Proficiency in using Excel and data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
- Proficiency in using requirements gathering and documentation tools, such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
