Our client is expanding operations in Ukraine and is dedicated to supporting the country’s defense sector. We seek an experienced Accountant to manage financial operations and contribute to B2B programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organizing accounting and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial transactions in the company’s financial and operational activities in the accounting system 1C ERP (LLC, staff size — 500+ employees).
- Optimizing the work of the accounting department through innovation and automation of business processes (managing a team of 10 people).
- Developing and implementing accounting policies (financial and tax accounting) in line with national accounting standards (NAS) and tax legislation for areas including production, wholesale, foreign economic activities, currency operations, and export/import.
- Preparing and submitting financial, tax, and other mandatory regulatory reports.
- Calculating product cost, managing expenses, forecasting, and optimizing the tax burden.
- Monitoring current legislation and implementing changes in accounting and tax accounting promptly.
- Collaborating effectively with other departments to support management decision-making.
- Participating in the creation and improvement of company business processes to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs), production productivity, and output volumes.
- Participating in the creation of a quarterly purchase plan for components.
- Developing a monthly production plan and a monthly budget for the company’s income and expenses.
Qualifications required:
- Successful experience as a chief accountant, deputy chief accountant, or financial director in production for at least 2 years.
- Experience in managing teams and creating effective teams.
- Experience in participating in the implementation and optimization of business processes at the production and logistics levels.
- Experience in process and change management in a dynamic business environment.
- Successful experience in passing audits by controlling authorities.
- Higher education (Accounting, Finance, Economics).
- Knowledge in supply chain management, warehouse operations.
- Ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and work effectively with all departments of the company.
- Skills in effective team and task management (managing a team of 10 specialists).
- Analytical mindset and ability to make quick decisions based on business indicators.
- Energetic and goal-oriented, highly self-organized.
Languages:
- Ukrainian;
- English is a big plus.
