About the Role
You will be responsible for implementing the compliance testing program in Brazil. It is expected that you are connected with the evolution and current regulatory framework applicable for:
- Nubank;
- The products and services offered by Nubank - in a manner that you are capable of proposing a strategic testing plan. It is also expected that you engage with other teams from the second and third lines of defense to keep this plan efficient and integrated with the full testing framework proposed by the different testing teams.
This coordination with other teams is crucial to meet with the Compliance role. The execution of the tests involves a variety of topics and requires a high ability to:
- Self learn;
- To establish a roadmap oft the tests and manage time successfully;
- To set agreements with stakeholders and escalate issues when needed;
- To communicate efficiently and present robust views.
You'll be responsible for
- Execute the Compliance tests for all BUs in Brazil, including Investments;
- Contribute to the preparation of the Compliance Annual Report as well as the Internal Controls Report from Nu Invest and Nu DTVM;
- Create the roadmap of each test, defining the phases, engaging the involved teams, and also communicating the results. The control of the testing process and escalation is a key component to complete the full roadmap;
- Enhance the Testing Plan applicable to Regulatory Compliance (Adherence tests) based on relevance for regulatory framework for Nubank and its products;
- Serving as the focal point to discuss the testing initiatives with Internal Audit and teams from 2LoD.
We are looking for a person who has
- Previous experience working with Audit, Consultancy or testing functions;
- Proactiveness, is hungry to increase knowledge, self learner, autonomous, with desire to deal with topics outside the comfort zone;
- Attention to details and at the same time with capacity to identify which risks areis important;
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements,standards and regulatory environments in Brazil;
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, in a clear and concise way;
- Experience with data and spreadsheets;
- Ability to work effectively across different teams, participating at thefrom Compliance rituals and contributing with critical vision of processes, products and risks, as opportunities to assess them through tests;
- Influencing skills to deal and speak with different levels of stakeholders;
- Advanced English;
- PQO certification - it is not mandatory to the hiring stage but it will be for the job;
- Programming is not required but candidates need to show interest in learning basic data analysis skills (SQL, Bigquery, Databricks) and task management tools (Jira).

Our Nu Way of Working
Our work model is hybrid and has cycles that can be from two to three months according to the business of expertise. For every eight or twelve weeks of remote work, one will be at the office.
