About the Position

Position is primarily responsible for operating the cash register in the Market Place and maintaining the cleanliness and availability of supplies and food items in the Market Place. Position is also responsible for assisting residents, staff and guests with service needs.

This position pays $19.25/hr

The hours of this position are 7am-3pm

Job Duties

• Opening of cash register and logging into system. Is responsible for cash handling.
• Monitors and restocks supplies for the day
• Sanitize Yogurt machine and keep stocked with product.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of serving areas in Café in accordance with departmental sanitation guidelines.
• Performs additional job duties as assigned and directed.
• This role is a front-facing position which interacts with many residents and team members daily. As such, the ability to maintain professional relationships with residents and team members is essential- including not participating in gossip and maintaining a professional and cheerful attitude.

Job Requirements 

• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Must possess the ability deal tactfully and professionally with others.
• Must possess effective verbal communication skills to be able to converse with team members, residents, vendors, etc.
• Must be able to read and comprehend written instructions.
