Lead role for designing and fabricating prototype, and supervising mass production of Jigs and Attachments for processing 311D model through Painting Process at Cambridge and Woodstock sites. Measuring and designing functional and repeatable Jigs and Attachments that will last the duration of the model (5years). Work with vendors to develop and mass fabricate Jigs and Attachments per schedule. Report progress status to leaders and managers. Visit Vendors site to perform quality and functionality checks of mass-produced Jigs and Attachments and work with vendors to close issues that arise. Support production and pilot groups to implement Jigs and Attachments into production.

Our Clients TMNA PE Paint Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Construction Coordinator.
The primary responsibility of this role is to manage area project schedules for new equipment installation, new model introduction, shop capacity studies and overall facilitation with related plant production groups.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, the person in this role will support the Paint department's objective to effectively manage capital projects, new model introductions, and provide necessary support to ensure smooth daily operations. In addition, this position will mentor junior engineers and assist in their OJD.
Requirements:
What youll be doing
Manage area project planning, implementation and follow-up to achieve KPIs and critical milestones
Create project schedules
Support new model introduction (equipment modifications, process jigs, etc.)
Create scope of work and define roles/responsibilities within the project
Review and/or design mechanical, structural,
Oversee several planned construction and commissioning work during non-production time and ensure equipment ready for production start.
Review site safety management plans for construction jobs
Lead process development through process design, machine specification, equipment procurement and installation, safety risk assessments and process trials based on project milestones and events.
Execute onsite equipment modifications during non-production time (weekends, holidays, etc.)
Participate in team kaizen and organizational improvement activities
Interact with inside and outside groups to divide responsibilities and resolve conflicts.
What you bring
Skilled Trades Certification or equivalent experience
Proficient knowledge in MS Office applications and AutoCAD (Electrical and Mechanical)
Working knowledge of Canadian construction and safety codes/laws
3+ years of experience coordinating equipment installations with multiple contractors
3+ years of experience reviewing mechanical, structural drawings
3+ years of experience leading problem solving
20+ years of experience Welding, MIG, Stick and TIG
20+ years of experience in metal fabrication
Ability to work weekends, holiday periods, and shutdown to support equipment modifications and installation projects
