Logistics ManagerYou will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of
logistics and supply chain management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will play a
crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of raw materials and finished products to meet
production schedules and customer demands.
Duties & Responsibilities- Manage supply chain process, including inventory management
- and distribution logistics.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics service providers to
- optimize costs and ensure reliable delivery of materials and finished goods.
- Implement strategies for efficient inventory management and control to minimize excess inventory.
- Collaborate with production planning teams to forecast demand and
- coordinate logistics to support manufacturing operations.
- Oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure accurate and on time delivery of products.
- Ensure compliance with local and international shipping and customs
- regulations.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction
- within the logistics function.
- Lead and develop a team of logistics coordinators and warehouse personnel
- to ensure high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards
Requirements:- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration
- (5+ years) in logistics management within a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in logistics software (ERP systems, warehouse management systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze
- complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills with a proactive and collaborative approach.
