Job Description;
- Thought leadership and decision-maker on CMDB design, leveraging the Common Services Data Model from ServiceNow
- Technical leadership across the ServiceNow platform and how modules/apps interact with the CMDB
- Stays current with ServiceNow direction, understands ServiceNow's future roadmap for the CMDB, and develops a strategy on how one can leverage new capabilities
- Develops a multi-year roadmap on enhancements to the CMDB and articulates how these improvements will benefit stakeholders
- Advises teams on modeling their applications/assets/CIs
- Oversees 4M Configuration Items (CIs) within ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring processes exist to keep data quality high so the CMDB is considered the trusted source for asset information
- Ensures automation and integrations are designed in alignment with enterprise architecture principles and for ongoing CI accuracy
Requirements: Servicenow Admin Certificate must Additional Skills/Preferences: - Around 10-15 years of ServiceNowexperience
- Strong verbal and written communications, along with the ability to articulate the ideas and recommendations to management, architects, and cross-functional teams
- Proficient in Javascript, Angular JS, or other related languages and libraries, Python, PowerShell, integrations with Webservices (SOAP and REST), and comfortable with API usage.
- High learning agility and problem-solving skills, to understand the current state and provide technical expertise to advance the design and project deliverables
- Maintaining the appropriate awareness of ever-changing business needs, technical changes, and vendor/supplier relationships, and services
- Demonstrate the ability to influence and consult (providing options with pros, cons, and risks) when solving business processes and/or technical problems during project delivery
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment, where needs and priorities can change, with compressed deadlines
- Mentor others by sharing skills, expertise, and best practices
- Experience with ServiceNow platform and system admin functions
