Reports to: VP, Digital Marketing

 

Position Overview

 

We’re seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Manager of Digital Experience to lead the strategy, execution, and performance of our websites. This role bridges our marketing and web development teams to drive digital growth and improve customer experiences. As the leader of the web development team, you’ll collaborate with Product Marketing, Digital Marketing, Brand, and Product teams to create engaging, high-performing website experiences. 

 

Responsibilities

Website Strategy & Management 

·       Define and lead the vision for Quickbase websites, optimizing design, architecture, and user experience to maximize performance, usability, and conversion. 

·       Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to ensure all website activities support brand awareness and demand generation goals in addition to technical enhancements, integrations, and performance optimization. 

·       Set deadlines and deliverables for website updates and projects, ensuring timely execution. 

·       Drive digital experience strategies that deliver seamless, engaging, and user-centric websites to enhance brand presence and digital performance. 

·       Architect and oversee the technical structure and codebase of the company's web properties, ensuring scalability and maintainability. 

·       Define and enforce web development standards, including coding practices, version control, and documentation. 

Advanced Development and Technical Expertise 

·       Write, review, and optimize code to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability. 

·       Build and maintain reusable code libraries for future use to improve efficiency and reduce duplication of effort. 

·       Lead the integration of third-party tools, APIs, and platforms into the website (e.g., analytics, marketing automation, CRM, personalization tools). 

·       Oversee the development of advanced features, such as dynamic content, search functionality, custom dashboards, or e-commerce solutions. 

·       Lead the transition to modern web technologies (e.g., headless CMS, JAMstack, Progressive Web Apps). 

Team Leadership 

·       Mentor and lead a team of front-end and back-end web engineers 

·       Oversee and prioritize the website project roadmap, managing multiple projects with Agile methodologies. 

Technical Expertise 

·       Optimize website SEO, including site architecture, technical foundation, keyword integration, and editorial content. 

·       Enhance speed-to-market with streamlined processes, QA, automation, and technology integration using Agile practices. 

·       Experience building and managing websites in Craft, Wordpress, or similar CMS systems 

Growth Initiatives & Testing 

·       Implement data-driven testing strategies to optimize web experiences, increasing lead conversions, pipeline, and reducing time-to-sale. 

·       Support conversion rate optimization (CRO) and growth testing programs. 

Cross-functional Collaboration 

·       Lead planning and management of cross-functional projects, creating processes to improve effectiveness and timely project delivery. 

·       Partner with internal teams—including Brand, Demand Generation, Marketing Operations, and others—to execute top-tier web projects. 

·       Act as the primary technical contact for website-related topics, collaborating with SEO, Operations, IT, Security, and Sales Ops. 

 

Qualifications

 

·       Proven experience leading web strategy and execution in a B2B technology company, including managing technical teams. 

·       Skilled at aligning technical requirements with business objectives, consulting stakeholders on initiatives like content, events, and SEO. 

·       Expertise in Agile methodology, including managing sprints and backlogs in Jira. 

·       Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering complex initiatives on time and within budget.
