Position Overview
Our client is looking for a seasoned BI developer. In addition to experience with Microsoft's SQL SSIS and SSRS modules, the candidate must have a demonstrated track record of SSAS and Power BI development work with multiple clients.
Job Responsibilities

Work with project team members (Client, DBAs, data analyst, architect) to determine business/technical requirements and evaluate and recommend specific design options.
Integrate data between multiple source systems. This will involve detailed data analysis of new or existing source systems, source-to-target mapping, data cleansing, and ETL development.
Design, develop, test, and implement SSAS cubes of various client subject matter.
Assist with the design, development, and implementation of staging areas and data marts.
Design, develop, and implement data quality and data cleansing processes.
Provide support in all aspects of the design, development, mapping, development, testing, and documentation of data movement processes and technologies.
Apply technical skills to implement an ETL solution to process heterogeneous text files, transform data into a format required by the business, and load data into SQL Server DW.

Desired Qualifications

7+ years of data warehouse ETL and business intelligence development work (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI). Strong data analysis skills are considered a plus.
Experience with dashboarding and visualization tools.
Experience with scorecarding and performance measure reporting (KPIs).
Experience with populating enterprise-level data warehouses which integrate data from multiple source systems.
Experience with populating subject-specific data marts. Specific experience with star schemas, slowly-changing dimensions, and history tables.
Experience with SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008.
Ability to translate complex technical terminology, concepts, and issues in terms understandable to technical and non-technical management and resource staff.
Knowledge of industry best practices around data movement methods and technologies.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Basic understanding of C#.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a self-starter, possess strong interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail and quality.

Educational Requirements

B.S. or higher in a related scientific or technical discipline.
