Job SummaryLooking for a Contract Administrator to support Client’s original video content team. Contractor will perform a wide range of duties to support the team’s Business Affairs, Legal Affairs, and Finance teams, including project tracking, processing of payroll documentation, and authorizing payments.
Key Qualifications2+ years in production payroll, business affairs administration, or contract administration at a major studio/network or streaming service.
Experience reviewing and analyzing television, film and/or new media agreements.
Tech savvy and experience with contract management software and tools.
Curiosity and eagerness to tackle additional projects as needed and proactively identify areas of opportunity.
Excellent organization and tracking skills.
Solid understanding of the payroll process, including experience with Entertainment Partners, payroll documentation, and above-the-line union labor agreements (DGA, WGA, SAG-AFTRA).
Ability to organize and prioritize a large volume of work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently and efficiently.
High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals and highly confidential information.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
DescriptionAdminister contractual obligations, including preparation of deal tracking reports and deal abstracts.
Track payment requests and milestones (e.g., deliverables) using document management system and internal prepare payment authorizations.
Manage and track start paperwork.
Act as internal and external point-of-contact for all payment related questions.
Assist internal teams to develop and implement standardized procedures and customized I.T. systems and databases.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required. Paralegal certificate or similar preferred. •
