<p>Bio Products Laboratory’s (BPL) have a new and exciting opportunity for a Trainer to join the Training department and support in the delivery of training to new and existing staff. </p><p>This is a wonderful opportunity for someone looking to develop within a role following a career path that will allow them to learn about the business whilst growing their skillset within training. </p><p>To be successful in this role, the role-holder will be a true team player, working proactively with colleagues to drive forward the co-ordination, design and delivery of the best possible technical training to the business. </p><p>Headquartered in Elstree, Herts, BPL part of Kedrion, manufactures pharmaceutical products derived from human blood plasma. These products are used to treat patients for conditions such as immunodeficiencies, coagulation disorders and critical care (blood volume deficiency).</p><p>This new and exciting opportunity will offer the successful candidate the opportunity to work with an organisation where our products change people’s lives, and the purpose of our work is lived and breathed through its people.</p><p><strong>Duties & Responsibilities -</strong></p><p><strong>Responsible for but not limited to the following:</strong></p><p><strong>Training Program Development:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with subject matter experts, training coordinators and departmental leaders to identify training needs and develop relevant content.</li></ul><ul><li>Create engaging and effective training materials, including presentations, manuals, and multimedia resources.</li></ul><p><strong>Training Delivery:</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct engaging training sessions for employees at all levels, including new hires, existing staff, and cross-functional teams.</li></ul><ul><li>Employ a variety of instructional techniques, such as lectures, group discussions, hands-on activities, and simulations, to maximize learning outcomes.</li></ul><ul><li>Adapt training delivery methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences among participants.</li></ul><ul><li>Take part in the learning and development supporting activities, i.e., H&S activities etc.</li></ul><ul><li>Provide guidance and support to employees regarding training compliance issues and best practices.</li></ul><ul><li>Work collaboratively with training coordinators / facilitators, team leaders and area management to ensure staff training compliance is maintained at the expected level.</li></ul><p><strong>GMP Compliance:</strong></p><ul><li>Ensure that training programs align with current GMP regulations, industry standards, and company policies.</li></ul><ul><li>Emphasize the importance of adherence to GMP principles in all training materials and sessi</li></ul><p><strong>Continuous Improvement:</strong></p><ul><li>Proactively seek feedback from trainees and stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancing training programs and processes.</li></ul><ul><li>Stay abreast of developments in GMP regulations, industry trends, and training methodologies to ensure the ongoing relevance and effectiveness of training initiatives.</li></ul><ul><li>Participate in cross-functional teams and projects aimed at improving overall quality, efficiency, and compliance within the organization.</li></ul><p><strong>Training Centre:</strong></p><ul><li>Onboarding of new starters, as required. </li></ul><ul><li>Deliver “Manufacturing Essentials” – onboarding programme for production.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain stock levels of consumables and raw material required for training.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure all equipment is adequately maintained. </li></ul><p><strong>Skills & experience to help you within the role – </strong></p><ul><li>Experience within Learning & Development.</li></ul><ul><li>Able to work within a team environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Adaptable & flexible with a logical & systematic approach to problem solving.</li></ul><ul><li>Able to communicate ideas & build effective relationships with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.</li></ul><ul><li>Good communication and presentation skills.</li></ul><ul><li>Planning and prioritisation of tasks / activities to achieve the required outputs.</li></ul><ul><li>Resilient to change within a dynamic work environment.</li></ul><ul><li>Computer literate, proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory compliance desirable.</li></ul><ul><li>Knowledge and experience working within a Pharmaceutical GMP manufacturing environment desirable.</li></ul><p><strong>In return we offer - </strong></p><ul><li>Competitive salary, and benefits to include a company performance related bonus</li><li>Pension</li><li>Life Insurance</li><li>25 days holiday</li><li>On-site parking and a subsidised restaurant</li></ul><p>Please apply today for immediate consideration.</p> •
