• WEEKENDS ARE AS ASSIGNED. May be more than EOW
• Requirements: 1 year of Psych hospital exp required. LTC experience & corrections are not psych.
• LIMIT RTO NO HOLIDAYS. FULL WEEKS ARE NOT LIKELY
• Must be willing to Float to multiple units.
• CONFIRM BEFORE SUBMITTING & ADD TO NOTES WHEN SUBMITTING TO ME THAT CANDIDATE ACCEPTS THE BELOW:
  • Each unit in the hospital will have 1 RN, 1 LPN (for med pass), and 2 MHTs. Ratio for each team is allowed to be up to 1:18.
  • Freestanding psych facility- no security
  • Codes are responded to by staff
  • De-escalations and restraints are handled by staff if necessary.
  • Willing to float to any unit combo of adult & Adolescent

About Hospital:

• Local rate same as travelers
• Shifts are 12s (7-7)
• 92 bed Psych facility
• 6 units candidates must be flexible to float between units (will be oriented to each)
• Units operate in teams they follow Joint Commission minimums: 1 RN, 1 LPN and 2 MHT per 18 patients
• House Supervisor over all units
• 3 days of orientation- days are flexible. Any Monday, but can do any day of the week.
• Handle with Care certification required (not CPI) this is done in orientation!
• Need CO or Compact lic in hand at time of submission
• COVID Vax required. Religious or medical reviewed on case by case basis. Must be included in Submission & must be signed by Pastor or Physician.
• 1 year of Psych exp required. LTC experience is not psych.
• Contracts are 8 weeks with option to extend
• Compliance due Tuesday prior to Monday start
