Machines Specialist - Shipyard Projects

As a Machines Specialist, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of machines used in shipyard projects. Your expertise in machines and strong technical knowledge will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of equipment.

In this role, you will collaborate with other team members to coordinate and execute machine-related activities. You will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, identifying issues, and performing maintenance to optimize machine performance. Your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to adhere to safety protocols will contribute to the success of shipyard projects.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the operation and maintenance of machines used in shipyard projects
• Coordinate with team members to execute machine-related activities
• Conduct routine inspections of machines to identify issues and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Perform maintenance and repairs on machines to optimize performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during machine operations
• Maintain accurate records of machine maintenance activities
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in machine technology

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in shipyard projects
• Familiar with Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines functionality, installation and operation requirements.
• Familiar with construction site requirements and dealing with EPC contractors. 
• Proven experience as a Machines Specialist or similar role
• Strong technical knowledge of machines used in shipyard projects
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Knowledge of machine operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Attention to detail and ability to adhere to safety protocols
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
