Global Business Development Lead
Join our dynamic Global Growth Partnerships Partnerships team, where you will have full ownership of our new partner business development efforts across several verticals to drive impactful new partnerships and new business development projects in HelloFresh's Global Growth Marketing organisation.
As Global Business Development Lead, you will be part of an exciting new growth phase of the Global Partnerships channel within the HelloFresh Group and the highly energetic and impactful Global Partnerships team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an exciting journey where you can contribute to our strategic direction and future operating model for new partner acquisition and incremental revenue growth!
We are looking for a candidate with experience and a proven track record in successful development of new revenue generating partnerships with leading international brands to deliver on the broader business objectives. Someone that can demonstrate both experience and success in developing a new partner acquisition strategy, qualified sales pipeline and building strong relationships with potential partners to promote our brands and products to their customer base to drive profitable new customers and revenue growth. You will have worked with internal and external stakeholders across functions and level of seniority up to C-level. To succeed in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You also need to possess a high degree of business acumen to think strategically with scale in mind while autonomously moving potential new business opportunities from prospecting to launch, while managing key internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll do
- Responsible to contribute to the setting of and to deliver on quarterly and annual business goals from new multi-market partnerships
- Collaborates closely with relevant cross functional senior stakeholders to deliver business development strategy and achieve objectives
- Translates central strategy into a business development strategy to drive business growth through performance based international partnerships and co-branding opportunities
- Conducts vertical relevant market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities and competitive insights
- Identifies, evaluates and prioritizes potential strategic international partners across assigned verticals
- Tracks and reports progress across the full sales cycle, identifies and resolves bottlenecks
- Owns the partner vertical development; identifies and evaluates potential new verticals and presents the value, requirements and business development approach to the Growth Partnerships Team leadership team and key stakeholders across the organization
- Develops commercial and product requirement business cases and documentation incl. templates, pipeline review reports, value realization reporting etc
- Creates HelloFresh Group pitch deck and presentations for global reach partnership opportunities and acts as main point of contact for high potential, global new business enquiries
- Negotiates and finalizes partnership agreements, ensuring mutual business objectives are met
- Contributes to new business forecasts and budgets
- Collaborates with stakeholders and colleagues cross-functionally (Growth Partnerships partner success and platform teams, legal, analytics, etc)
What you’ll bring
- Digital Partnerships Business Development Expert with 7+ years experience in the affiliate/online partnerships industry
- Demonstrated ability to source, launch and expand successful partnerships
- Equipped with solid knowledge of the industry, common commercial models and tracking solutions as well as reporting dashboards such as Tableau and CRM tools (e.g. Hubspot)
- A very strong analytical thinker who can derive actionable conclusions from diverse data sets and turn them into potential partnerships and likes solving difficult problems
- A strong communicator who knows how to connect easily with different types of stakeholders internally and externally and uses data to present their perspectives
- A critical thinker with strong analytical and organizational skills, able to work independently and prioritize with determination and ambition
- Adept at rapidly understanding business needs and crafting solutions
- Proficient English in written and spoken form, fluency in German, French or Spanish will be an advantage
