Senior Estimating Manager

JASARA PMC is seeking an experienced and motivated Estimating Manager to join our dynamic team. As an Estimating Manager, you will play a crucial role in our Civil Engineering department, overseeing cost estimation processes and ensuring accurate and competitive project bids. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the transformation of Saudi Arabia's social infrastructure as part of the Vision 2030 initiative.

Responsibilities

• Lead the estimating team in preparing cost estimates and bid proposals for civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and develop accurate cost estimates.
• Analyze project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to identify cost factors and potential risks.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to gather information for estimating purposes.
• Utilize industry-standard software to calculate material, labor, and equipment costs.
• Manage the process of obtaining subcontractor bids and quotations.
• Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals and negotiate contract terms.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in cost estimation within the civil engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and building codes.
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
• Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Professional certifications in estimating and project management are a plus.
